Hotel Towadaso

The onsen facilities felt heavenly. Soaking in the hot springs surrounded by serene nature was a highlight. The Japanese-style room was spacious. Breakfast was enjoyable, with traditional dishes. Dining options for dinner were severely lacking. The only restaurant open in the hotel had limited menu choices, and I had to clean a table myself to eat there. This was frustrating, especially with no nearby alternatives. Wi-Fi connection struggled frequently.

We had an amazing stay during the winter time.

Extremely polite staff and exceptionally nice location close to the waterfront, everything was beautiful. Hotel's room was reasonably large with a magnificent view of the mountains. We had an electric kettle and a fridge in the room. We really enjoyed this place.

Spacious rooms, but noisy walls

Hotel Towadaso offered a good escape with its enormous Japanese-style rooms and friendly staff. The onsen facilities were relaxing, and being close to the scenic lake.

We faced challenges with thin walls, which let in noises from neighboring rooms. The dining experience at the hotel was underwhelming, particularly the lackluster dinner options.

I was frustrated by the limited dining options available. The only restaurant open had a long wait, as one lady was managing everything alone. The air conditioning in my room was uncomfortably cold, and without a remote control, I had no way to adjust it myself.

Excellent volcanic history models

So charming and excellent, such a unique experience with volcanic history models around the hotel.

I had a great stay with relaxing onsen facilities and a delightful breakfast buffet. However, the dinner menu was quite limited, leaving me wishing for more options. I would definitely return again!

The Japanese-style room was massive and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a relaxing hot spring to soak in after a long day of biking. I also loved the volcanic history models around the hotel that added a unique touch to my visit.

Modern and lovely welcoming property a short walk from a boat dock. Unbeatable location just a pleasant stroll away from Towadakohan Onsen. Neat and beautifully decorated room with an excellent bathroom. Great view overlooking the inside.

The building and rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped, all for a reasonable price, set in a stunning location near the JR bus station offering great lake views.

This place was spotless with lovely decor, the staff members we interacted with were friendly and accommodating, and the location was ideal, being near lakes and mountains.
